Pleasanton :: Hotels

Pleasanton, CA is the wealthiest mid-sized city in the nation. That being said, you don’t have to spend a large amount of money to stay the night in this city. There are hotels available that span the entire spectrum of price and levels of luxury. This city is also home to a very agreeable downtown, where pedestrian traffic is given priority over the vehicular sort. This downtown is the site of many different festivals, and this may be a factor worth giving some consideration when you’re choosing your hotel. Some of the available options follow.

The Rose Hotel

Rose HotelThis hotel is located right in Pleasanton’s downtown area, and is representative of the luxury hotels that you’ll find available in this city. The hotel also exhibits just how important travelers coming on tech-related business are to the community. If you ask, the hotel will supply you with a laptop computer for your room. The hotel also has a business center right on the premises. The proximity to the downtown will be a good feature if you want to attend any of the local festivals. The concerts thrown in the park every Friday during the summer, for instance, are easily accessible from this hotel, which has parking for your vehicle.

The Marriott Hotel Pleasanton

MarriotThis is a good example of a mid-range hotel typical of what you’ll find in Pleasanton. This hotel isn’t quite as luxury as some of those found downtown, but the prices are lower and this has more to do with location than amenities. There is a business center at this hotel, just as there is at most of the luxury hotels, and the facility will provide you with a shuttle to get to the more central areas of the city. This hotel may not give you a computer just for asking, but they certainly have high-speed Internet access available.

Larksupr Landing Hotel

Larksupr Landing HotelThis is also a mid-range hotel in price, but less expensive than the Marriott. It also represents a hotel located to one of Pleasanton’s primary resources: ready access to the rest of the Bay Area. This hotel is situated along 580, and has nearby transportation hubs that can provide access to San Francisco and most anywhere else in the region. Public transit is a big part of the California lifestyle, and Pleasanton’s BART stations and other resources are invaluable. Hotels such as this one offer guests ready access to that transit and, thus, to just about anywhere else they may wish to go.

Best Western Pleasanton Inn

Best WesternWhile it’s a budget option relative to what’s already been mentioned, it’s certainly not a low-end hotel. Carrying three-stars, this hotel is rather representative of the hotels that you can lodge at for a modest price in this city. The amenities may not be as luxurious as its high-end competition, but this hotel has all of the basic amenities one would need if they were scouting out suitable homes, or just enjoying the Pleasanton environs!
